Reply Julia A says: August 9, 2019 at 12:19 pm Couldn't agree more. Much happier on a wholefood vegan diet. Anxiety is a thing of the past too😎 Reply Jo Drew says: August 9, 2019 at 12:21 pm Well we WFPB-ed eaters have more fiber in our diet and therefore poop more so that goes a long way toward the general well being. Most people especially the SAD eaters, discount their gross bodily functions but elimination is vital to feeling good. It's not just all the nutrients and antioxidants we consume, although that's vitally important also. Reply T A Hall says: August 9, 2019 at 12:26 pm I agree about the fruit and veggies, but I for one derive great pleasure from dark chocolate. Reply sooooooooDark says: August 9, 2019 at 12:41 pm just almost sounds raw is lawjust almost Reply Shari T says: August 9, 2019 at 1:00 pm …cue Pharrell….…dun dun dun dun dun!……It might seem crazy what I'm about to say……fruits and veggies are here, you can take a break… Reply Gary McKinnon says: August 9, 2019 at 1:07 pm That's 3 or 4 cups of fruit or vegetables respectively per day, i get about half of that and it's lifted my mood since starting a few years back. Reply TATTOEDVEGAN says: August 9, 2019 at 1:34 pm Dr Greger should educate himself on boiphotons. Reply Anj Kovo says: August 9, 2019 at 1:56 pm I noticed a bowl of boiled buckwheat makes me feel good and energetic Reply xxx xxx says: August 9, 2019 at 1:57 pm I miss my mom every second. How are you supposed to know how much is it for each particular food? Where and when was I supposed to learn that? Reply kaski wekazo says: August 9, 2019 at 3:36 pm What does 8.2 servings mean? Does that mean 8 pieces of different fruit? Reply Abhay Bhatt says: August 9, 2019 at 3:59 pm Flashback Friday Starting Tune = Nostalgia. Reply Pabs Elmtree says: August 9, 2019 at 4:01 pm Cool. Bacon cheese etc Reply Sean Wysocki says: August 9, 2019 at 4:22 pm Is it true eating fruit will boost insulin making it so you can’t burn fat and store it? I’m not exactly sure I was being told that dr.eric berg claims this to be fact I never new he existed till I looked him up after and noticed he had a massive 4m sub following. Just wanted to get more info on this because from what I saw he does not present any studies from that just says it. Reply StarvingArtistTV says: August 9, 2019 at 4:44 pm before watching, is the answer chocolate? Reply Swiss Lady Driver says: August 9, 2019 at 6:23 pm Butter. Reply ÜBERGÄNG TV says: August 9, 2019 at 6:43 pm Thanks 4 the food work. Can you do a video about lipoedema pls. Reply JadeMusic says: August 9, 2019 at 7:51 pm I eat a mostly WFPB diet (I'm vegan, but I also eat for health). As a lifetime sufferer of anxiety and severe depression, I don't notice a difference. In fact, trying to eat the "perfect" diet has only stressed me out, made me feel deprived, and consequently deepened my already poor relationship with food. 😞 So I've decided to be a little more lax and eat whatever I want (vegan, of course, and within reason), because fruits and veg aren't the "only" cure for mood. So much more comes into play (your environment, for example)..and if you feel stuck and struggle to change your environment, there ain't enough apples in the world that will lift your mood. Just saying. Reply John Snow says: August 9, 2019 at 8:00 pm Thanks Doc. Great info as always. I would assume that there is a strong case for a video that shows that meat eaters assimilate all the stress and anxiety hormones of the mistreated and tortured animals and thus feel bad from that, including a series of mental illnesses. Reply Carolina Reaper says: August 9, 2019 at 8:15 pm Doctor can you Please share with us your opinion and facts of course about how treadmill can be used to loose weight? How many Kn daily do you recommend? Nowadays everyone else are insisting on only weight lifting and to absolutely cut the cardio to none or once a week tops!!! We all know you are a fun of treadmill and walking and for sure we can relay and trust your recommendations!!!!! Please !!!! Reply Firefly says: August 9, 2019 at 8:19 pm I'm not sure the conclusion is valid. They may just feel better because they think they ate healthy and did something for themselves, not due to the actual food. Same difference, though… Reply Cam Whitman says: August 9, 2019 at 10:54 pm Increase happiness? Steak, ribs, fried chicken, chicken fried steak. When I eat my greens, it's usually a bowl of cooked greens…I'm guessing thats two servings? An apple is one serving of fruit I'm pretty sure, but raw veggies are somewhat problematic for me. Reply SZE YEE KWAN says: August 10, 2019 at 11:53 am 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables! Wow! I come from Hong Kong, our government promotes a 2(fruits)+3(vegetable) formula. I think it is because of we promote meat but vegetables are of course better alternatives in the long run. Reply 24hourbalance says: August 10, 2019 at 12:47 pm I feel so happy eating my raw veggie power salad now 🙂 thank you!
