EFFECTS OF SKIPPING BREAKFAST By Dietitian Jyoti Chabria

Hi, I am Jyothi Chabria. Breakfast is the
most integral part of every meal. Today’s
youngsters we see are very yearned to these
fad diets where they feel not eating is going
to make them slim. However this concept is
totally wrong, because I am sure you have
heard this line, it is always said that “Eat
breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen,
dinner like a pauper” In a car, if you don’t
put fuel, the car doesn’t start, likewise
in the body if you don’t put something in,
the metabolism doesn’t start. So, breakfast
should be the most important part of the day.
Skipping breakfast is not a good idea at all
because when you start your day with breakfast
it kinds of fills you up for the day. It keeps
you energetic through the day. Today you have
lot of breakfast options that one could pick
up, things like oats, muesli, you have lot
of brands in the market today which are high
in fiber and why we are taking of fiber so
much is because fiber is a nutrient which
keeps you with a sense of satiety, it keeps
you feeling full through the day and keeps
you energetic through the day. So, even if
one is little low on lunch or dinner, it keeps
you peppy and happy through the day because you are feeling full.
