EASY KETO FLATBREAD RECIPE | TASTY MADE ME DO IT | LOW CARB

(bright bouncy music) – Hi, I’m Katie, and welcome
back to A Real Kitchen. (upbeat music) Today we’re gonna be
making Tasty’s version of keto flatbread. Now if you’re not familiar
with the keto diet, keto is a high fat,
low carb way of eating, and so many people experience
not only weight loss but they feel better too. So I wanted to try Tasty’s
version of keto flatbread. Does it work, does it taste good? I don’t know, let’s find
out, let’s get started. So first we’re gonna take one cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and one tablespoon of cream cheese. And then what we’re gonna do
is pop them into the microwave for about one minute,
but I’m gonna stir it after 30 seconds, ’cause
what we really need to do is just have cheese melt
with the cream cheese. Okay so this is exactly the consistency that we’re looking for,
and what we’re gonna do is let this cool for a couple minutes because we’re gonna be
adding egg and if I put the egg in there right now
it is just going to scramble. Okay next the beaten egg, stir that in. Gonna grab quarter cup of almond meal, two minced cloves of garlic,
and of course happy spatula. I have a teaspoon of dried oregano, and a half a teaspoon of dried thyme. One teaspoon of fresh rosemary,
this is from my garden. I’m gonna have to show
you my lovely herb garden. Here in California I can really
grow most herbs year round. As a matter of fact we
still are getting tomatoes off of our tomato plant, so
we’re just gonna mix this all around till it
looks like a nice dough. Okay so we have a nice sticky dough here, and now according to Tasty
all I’m supposed to do is put this mixture on a baking sheet. So let’s get a parchment
on a baking sheet. So we’re just gonna flatten this out, it’s very, very wet. Flatten this out to about
a quarter inch thick. Okay now we have this ready
and we’re gonna be placing this into a 350 degree oven for
about 10 to 15 minutes, but keep an eye on it. Here is the finished
