Would you say there are any
specific drawbacks or benefits
to following a ketogenic diet
for post-menopausal women?
– So I would say there’s a
lot of advantages to following
a ketogenic diet for
post-menopausal women.
And you know, what we know
is that post-menopausal women
do tend to struggle
more with their weight,
and it tends to be central weight.
And so again, a ketogenic
diet can improve things for
post-menopausal women just
as it can for pre-menopausal
women and men of all ages.
So if someone is struggling
with those post-menopausal
weight gain, especially
in those specific areas,
I would really encourage
people to consider a
ketogenic diet.
And as far as drawbacks
goes, no, there’s no specific
drawbacks there.
I mean this is a great
patient population for this
to be implemented with.
