well it looks and feels like a CREPE
or like some people say a crepe hi
I’m Kate Turner today we’ll be trying to
street foods from around the world and
we’re going to talk about it
definitely looking like a hot dog and
loving all the peppers and onions on it
okay we have some Bacon’s which I’m
assuming this one is from the US don’t
know if I’m gonna go for this soggy
bacon but all right so here’s the thing
about hot dogs the main thing you want
to look for is buying a grass-fed hot
dog they’re eating grass which also has
a lot of health benefits grass-fed meat
has conjugated linoleic acid or CLA is
to make it short CLA is actually have
fat burning properties which make it
amazing to be part of your diet once to
twice a week if you eat red meat
well it looks and feels like a crap I’m
not sure until I taste it okay this is
made with test flour now if you’ve never
heard of Ted flour it’s a really good
alternative flour that’s higher protein
and higher in fiber and it’s also gluten
free so if you’re gluten free it’s a
great alternative it’s actually me keep
you full a lot longer than it may appear
really when I’m looking at this dish
this is a fiber and protein powerhouse
so this is looking like some type of her
neatest taco and we have some cilantro
onions so cilantro actually binds to
heavy metals in your body and then
eliminates them a lot of other herbs do
the same but cilantro is one of the
heavy hitters with it adding it to any
dish is always gonna give you a big help
boost alright so let’s talk about salt
whenever you’re having tacos thus all
contents definitely gonna be higher but
if you were to compare these street food
tacos which are homemade versus like a
taco bell or a Del Taco you’re probably
gonna have about half the salt content
so it’s always better to go homemade
so I’m gonna estimate this desert has
about 70 grams of sugar we want to try
and aim for no more than 10 grams of
added sugar per day so just think of
here’s your week’s worth of added sugar
honestly maybe more you’re obviously
feeling inside so let’s break this open
it kind of reminding me of like an
empanada so if you can see we got to me
some herb so typically in a meal I’m
looking for some protein which we have
here vegetables which we have some herbs
but what you really don’t have
vegetables and then fiber based off of
this bread probably not getting that
much fiber I’m going to use this as an
appetizer and maybe share it with
friends but I definitely would have have
it as a full meal but I’m gonna say the
parsley is probably the most nutritious
thing
and let’s look like little pancakes I’m
just gonna break this with my finger
actually there’s a little sauce hmm
can’t say it’s the best thing you’ve
ever tried love that there’s protein
from the fish but not loving how Carvey
and flowery it is if you can see it just
kind of doesn’t really break apart
