Deep Fried Broccoli | FryDay | Caveman Keto

Welcome back, Caveman Keto here and today we’re going to continue our mini-series
entitled FryDay. We’re going to fry broccoli today
which has a really cool texture once its fried, we’re gonna check that out
Start by setting the fryer to its maximum temperature
which in this case is 370 degrees. You’ll
notice that if your using something like
Lard
and you’ve left it in the fryer that it
will have hardened
this is one of the reasons that if you use an animal fat based frying oil
you cannot use an immersion fryer this
type of fryer
it’s kind of like a crock pot were it heats
from the outside
frying broccoli is really simple, we just
take the florets
place them in the frying basket and then
lower it
after just a few minutes the cauliflower
florets are golden brown
and you can raise the basket. For a simple
dipping sauce
combined two ounces of blue cheese dressing with 1
teaspoon
hot sauce and then just mix it together
well after only a few minutes the
broccoli is done
I don’t know if I can even describe
on-camera how amasing
this looks and tastes all the little florets
kind of explode like popcorn kernels with
the spicy sauce it’s just amazing!
