(upbeat music) – Ultimately, fasting, the longer we switch out fasts, the more ketones our body’s naturally going to produce, and the better that we are
at metabolising ketones, the better we’re gonna do
as we go through fasting. So, they go hand in hand. To do a successful fast, you need to have ketone bodies elevated in your body, and at the same time, to really do the ketogenic diet, I think at the highest level where you’re really getting the best benefits,
you wanna incorpoate periods of intermittent fasting and possibly even a
longer, prolonged fast. When it comes to fat
loss, believe it or not, actually eating fat helps you burn fat. See, the key here is hormones, and so a lot of times, you know, we’ve been trained to believe it has to do with calories, and because one gramme of fat has nine calories, whereas one gramme of carbohydrate or protein has four grammes of calories, we were told stay away from fat because there’s a lot more calories. We need to cut calories, but that’s actually not true at all. And you’ll notice that you have better mental energy then. You just have better memory, better cognitive acceleration
and cognitive function. You’re gonna be able to think sharper and clearer. It’s awesome. You feel more emotionally balanced. You’re not as swinging into irritability and having mood swings. You feel a lot more balanced emotionally. You have this great energy. You’re losing weight, and if you’re able to do that, you’re able to get keto-adapted and you’re an diabetic, you are gonna see astounding changes in overall health. I’ve had many clients
be able to completely reverse their diabetes, get their blood sugar, hemaglobin,
A1C back under control. Really get their life
and their health back. No longer need the medications, and you know, kiss diabetes goodbye. So… (upbeat music)
