Creamy Chicken And Mushrooms Recipe – One Pan Keto Chicken Recipes

what’s up everybody this is lyle with no
hippie BBQ and what imma be doing today
is gonna be a super simple keto creamy
chicken and mushroom recipe I was
inspired to make this recipe by these
mushrooms that I found at my Asian
market I’ve never cooked with these so
we’re gonna give this a shot there’s
only a few ingredients that you’re gonna
need to hook this keto recipe up what I have is two
chicken breasts that I have cut in half
I did pound them out with a meat mallet
just a few times just to break down the
fibers just a little bit then i season
them with salt and pepper on both sides
so that’s what we do with that we have
our mushrooms now these were marketed as
seafood mushrooms I’m not sure if that’s
what the actual name is but that’s what
those are we’re gonna be using a little
basil that I had and the basil looks a
little dark and maybe a little bit
wilted because I did have that frozen
which shouldn’t be a problem in this
recipe we have some heavy cream any kind
of oil that you’d like to use figure
just to change it up a little bit rather
than going with canola oil olive oil or
anything like that we’re gonna go with
some coconut oil and we have some
chicken stock we will season it as
necessary down the road with salt and
pepper so this is going to be pretty
simple the first thing we need to do is
get this chicken cooked down so let’s
get started with that layer of coconut
oil in my skillet we’re gonna add our
chicken in and we’re gonna cook it until
it’s brown on both sides it should be
about three minutes aside
that’s a good three minutes on the first
time we’re gonna do another 30 minutes
on this bag
another three minutes on that side we’re
going to remove the chicken and just set
it off on a plate now looks like we have
enough oil if you don’t have enough oil
at the bottom of this pan a thin layer
add a little bit more oil at this point
we’re gonna add our mushrooms in and
we’re gonna cook these down until they
become pretty soften okay guys we have
our mushrooms they’re pretty softened up
right now that took about four minutes I
did reduce the heat a little bit on it
now we’re gonna do is add our chicken
stock I’m gonna turn the heat up a
little bit and I’m gonna let about half
of this evaporate that should take about
seven eight minutes so our liquid is
reduced by about half you’re gonna add
our cream in now and as well as our
diesel let’s get this stirred in really
good
and I just want to taste this sauce see
kind of what we’re looking at
okay that’s pretty good tasting sauce
I’m gonna hit it with a little bit of
pepper no need for the salt the chicken
stock added just the right amount to it
and you can never go wrong with some
heavy pepper I’m gonna turn this on low
stir in this pepper and get our chicken
back in I’m just gonna kind of put them
in flip them over and I’m gonna let it
sit in this sauce for about five more
minutes on low all right guys we let
this simmer on low for about five
minutes the only thing I need to do is
plate up and dig in
alright guys so that is a wrap time for
me to get in and see what I think the
first thing I go for is these mushrooms
like I said these are some mushrooms
that I’ve never had before nice
I think they might be calling those
seafood mushrooms or because they almost
taste a little bit like seafood we get
into this chicken and hopefully this is
fork tender because I did not bring a
knife over here
some of that sauce
can’t go wrong with that and you cannot
get any easier than cooking something
