Hey beautiful people. This is a collagen
infused Keto recipe and I can’t wait to
teach you everything you need to know
about collagen. It’s a pretty confusing
topic and it’s the hottest topic right
now. But what we don’t know is what type
of collagen works for our body, why we
need it, how much we need, and where we
should be getting it from. 15 years ago
I spent so much time throughout Asia
really understanding and learning how
the Asian women got so beautiful, why
their skin was so plump, nourished, moist,
glowy, and had everything to do with the
collagen that they were ingesting. You
see, like collagen is almost..how would I put
it? It’s like the scaffolding that sort
of holds our skin up and in Asia people
are consuming up to 20 grams more
protein collagen. So the collagen
peptides from their foods, from their
bone broth, their duck heads, all the
different foods that they eat every
single day. So this recipe right here is
gonna solve that for all of us.
We’re gonna start with Kiefer so
fermented and it can be coconut or dairy.
We have coconut milk here so you’ve got
all the good fats. Here’s our collagen
we’ve got frozen raspberries or fresh
raspberries. Again, this is a keto rich
smoothie that’s gonna fill your body
with the collagen. We also have pecans,
flax seed, cauliflower, zucchini, and kale.
We’re gonna start with a half cup full
fat coconut milk so you’re getting
MCT’s in here you’re getting all of the
good fats that really help to nourish
and protect our skin. Then here’s the
kefir. I drink kefir every single day
because it is fermented and it really
helps with our whole microbiome and we
know that our collagen production and
our microbiome our immune health they’re
all interrelated. Next we’re gonna
our collagen. Our collagen production starts
to go down by the time we’re like 20
years old, right. So it’s starting to
slowly go down. Once we get into our 40s
and our late 40s it follows the line of
our estrogen levels so it diminishes
very, very quickly. So I want to nourish
your body, get it up there early so that
you’re not having to worry about it as
we get older. Now here we’ve got the
zucchini. So this is an entire zucchini
which is perfect for us on keto. As well
as, you’ve got the kale right in here. I
have frozen cauliflower here for you. I
try to eat cauliflower every single day
especially because I am keto and it
really helps us stay in that ketogenic
state. Then we’ve got delicious pecans
we’ve got half a cup of them. So again
you’re getting more of the good fats. And
we’ve got 2 tablespoons of flax seeds.
The flax seeds have the omega-3s and
these are raw flax seeds that we’re
adding right in here. So love-love-love
then we’re gonna have just a half
teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon. This has a
fat-burning, detoxifying effect on our
bodies. And here are our raspberry so
we’ve got a quarter cup of raspberries
for the antioxidants the polyphenols the
vitamins and the nutrients. While I was
in Alaska I learned about salmon berries
and if you have access to salmon berries
you can use those instead. But this is
your collagen rich infused keto shake. So
here we go. You ready?
