Today, I’ll show you how to make grilled chicken with
lemon, salad with lemon dressing & grilled sweet
potato. This meal is very nutritious yet low-carb for who
wants to lose weight or who are looking for recipes for
dishes with chicken or for who just want a simple &
It’s very good for health.
Now let’s get started!
Firstly, I’ll guide you how to make grilled chicken marinated with lime.
I’ll use chicken breast meat.
Use 2 pieces of chicken breast.
Then, I’ll marinate chicken breast with lime.
I’ll grate the lime to get lime peel.
Use lime or lemon is both ok.
But when you grate, only grate the green/yellow peel.
It’s very simple. Especially for who are on diet and need
to eat many chicken breast meats, this one is definitely a good choice.
Then I’ll cut the lime in half.
Only take a half of it
& squeeze the juice into the bowl.
So that the lime flavor will be stronger.
a half of a lime contains about 1 tablespoon or 15ml of lime juice.
Next, I’ll also add in some garlics to creat the smell.
I’ll only take 1 clove of garlic & grate it into the bowl.
This dish will have a strong lime taste.
Add a little bit of salt.
About 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Then, a little bit of black pepper.
Mix it thoroughly.
You should use your hands to mix. It’s much easier.
Mix the ingredients well so that the spices will be soaked into the meat.
I’ve already smell the garlic & the lime in it.
The best way to marinate meat is to marinate it & leave
it overnight in the fridge. If you can’t leave it overnight,
allow the spices to soak into the meat for at least 30 minutes.
I’ll leave it there for 30 minutes & then I’ve done with the marinating.
Add 15ml olive oil (1 tablespoon) into a pan.
Let the pan being heated up.
Then, I’m gonna add chicken in and side-burnt grilled it.
Remember to turn the heat at high level/
I want it to be side burnt so the flame has to be big.
Each side will need to be cooked in about 2 minutes.
Now, I’ll move this into an oven.
Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and grill the
chicken for 8 minutes more.
This is the chicken after being grilled in 400 degrees
Fahrenheit (~200 degrees Celsius) in 8 minutes.
After taking it out of the oven, I’ll let the chicken there for
5-10 minutes before cutting it.
Now, I’ll go make the salad.
For the today salad, I’ve prepared spinach, lettuce & kale.
Then, add some bell peppers on top.
Next, I’ll add the salad dressings that I’ve made today.
I’ve made some salad dressings today.
Pour the dressing on top.
Then, I’ll add a piece of chicken that I’ve made before on the plate.
My meal today will have grilled chicken breast and salad.
Along with some grilled sweet potatoes.
I’m gonna also add some slices of avocado on the plate.
And an orange slice to add more color to the dish.
