Hey, hey, hey guys, it’s the Keto King here.
Today we are making some amazing keto brownies.
These low carb brownies are exceptionally
versatile and can be used as a quick treat
to satisfy that sweet tooth or can be taken
along and packed up as an on the go snack.
THe ingredients you will need are: some low
carbohydrate protein powder, stevia, xylitol,
eggs, olive oil, whipping cream, some baking
powder, cinnamon, some cocoa powder, some
psyllium husk (which is optional), 2 bowls
and something to bake the keto brownies in.
Let’s get right to it. Start off with 1/4
cup of olive oil. 1/4 cup of heavy or whipping
cream. 1/4 cup of hot water. 2 tablespoons
of stevia. 2 tablespoons of xylitol. Give
the mixture a good mix. Put that aside for
now and grab your other bowl. We’re gonna
add in a bunch of the other ingredients now.
So I use a protein powder from Canadian Protein.com.
It really doesn’t matter which one you use.
All you are looking for is something that
is a low carbohydrate protein powder. Put
in 1/4 cup. Then put in 2 tablespoons of coconut
flour. 1 tablespoon of baking powder. 2 teaspoons
of cinnamon. And then 3 tablespoons of cocoa
powder. Give that a good mix. Bring back your
other bowl, crack in the 2 eggs. Now I like
to get out a little hand blender. It really
helps incorporate all the ingredients. Then
mix the dry and the wet components together
and put that hand blender back in and give
it a really good mix. Next I am adding in
2 tablespoons of psyllium husk. Now l’ve made
these low carb brownies with and without the
psyllium husk. The texture is roughly the
same, I just like the psyllium husk because
it increases the fibre content and obviously
helps keep you fuller for longer. Once done,
you should get a nice sludge type of texture.
If you don’t use the psyllium husk, it will
be slightly runnier than that. Put your mixture
inside your baking tray. And it should look
like this once you are done. An optional step
here is to add some nuts on top. I highly
recommend it. It makes it look fantastic and
taste even better. I use some sliced almonds
and some sunflower seeds for this batch. Heat
your oven up to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Once
it reaches temperature, you’re gonna set it
for 12 minutes and pop your brownie mixture
in. While these chocolate keto brownies are
baking for 12 minutes, this is a perfect time
to give the kitchen a good clean up. After
12 minutes, the no sugar brownies smell fantastic
and look like this. You can cut up your brownies
in to any size pieces you like. Simply grab
a knife and cut out the shapes and sizes you
require. I also recommend using a spatula
to help removing the brownies from the sides
of the tray. And this what you end up with.
These chocolate keto brownies are exceptionally
versatile. One of my favourite ways to eat
these is to grab a piece, pop it on a plate,
get some whipping cream or heavy cream and
pour it all over these keto brownies. Another
fantastic use for these brownies are as an
on the go snack. I recommend wrapping them
individually in tin foil and popping them
in the freezer and when you are on the run
and need something for an on the go snack,
simply grab it out the freezer and put it
in your bag. Thanks guys for watching. If
