Carnivore Diet | Omad – One Month Update! | Lola’s Life Lessons
Hi YouTube friends! It’s Lola from Lola’s Life Lessons.
I haven’t uploaded a video in a while. Actually about three months.
Simply put when I surpassed my weight loss goal.
I went back to my bad eating habits, boo.
Meaning I was still doing omad but I was binge eating.
when the weight started to come back. I knew I had to come back to what worked best for me before.
So I decided I would do the carnivore diet again
along with omad.
But this time I decided I’m going to commit to at least a year now. If you don’t know what the carnivore diet is.
It’s basically where you eat meat and you drink water.
But you can have coffee or tea as well. So there’s no calorie counting which I love and
basically get to eat until you’re full but I’m not gonna be doing any binge eating on this diet because when you eat
meat and steak you feel very very satisfied very quickly.
Now what I’m gonna be doing is I’m gonna be doing monthly videos for you guys.
But and I’m also going to be doing weekly weigh-ins.
But I’m not going to be doing weekly videos.
So I want to also
share the other benefits with you as well because there are tons of benefits.
So now I just wanted to share with you guys my week one my starting point.

So I’m at week two of the Concord diet experiment.
And I just wanted to report that I did have some acne breakouts this week.
But I’m really happy about my digestion. So it had no acid reflux and
my stomach there’s no bloat, but my stomach bloat is gone.
So that’s about it I’ll see you guys at week 3.
So this week three of the carnivore diet experiment. My digestion is good, but my weight is up.

So I’m here. I’m at the one-month mark of the carnivore diet experiment and
as some of you guys know. I did do this experiment before but I did it as more of a challenge.
Did it for 30 days but the results I’m getting now at this mark versus what I got before is very different.
I actually started off at 135.
The last time I did this diet and I went all the way down to 127.
Now this particular time I started out off where I was it around. I think 139 and
I’m not at 127. So might – the weight the weight loss thing is kind of different kind of weird.
Not sure why that – that’s happened.
But as for the scale itself, the scale is going down, which I’m really happy about that.
As for the health benefits that I’ve experienced so far. I would say that um what I’ve experienced that the best
the most shocking experience has been my digestion and
I’ve noticed that
my – digestion is better.
Over the years I’ve suffered with acid reflux and
what I would usually do is just drink apple cider vinegar and a glass of water and that helped.
But I noticed that for the month that I’ve been on this carnivore diet.
I’ve only had one instance where I’ve had acid reflux. So I’m really happy about that.
Now as for my overall digestion.
Doctors in the past told me what I needed to do was eat the fiber.
Now I haven’t had any fiber in a month and my digestion is better than ever. Better than having the fiber.
So I’m not really sure why that is.
Why is it that?
I’ve had no fiber but yet my digestion is better.
So, I don’t know for some people.
Maybe fiber does help but for me, I’m noticing that my digestion does better without fiber.
Now as for what else have I noticed? My skin is cleared up.
I’ve had minimal acne breakouts and
what else? Have I also I experienced benefit wise? I would say that
sleep – my sleep patterns are better. I go to sleep
quicker and my sleep just it feels so good.
Like I sleep through the night and I feel rested with less sleep, which is very strange.
So I’m really happy about that. So those are the benefits that I’ve experienced so far.
I would say that my family. Yeah, just want to mention that my family.
My husband is doing mostly meat, but he does eat. He has carbs. My daughter
she’s also having mostly meat but she’s also having carbs, whatever she wants.
But the thing that I’ve noticed and she mentioned this to me like over a year ago
was that she noticed that when she didn’t have dairy her acne got better.
Now I’m noticing the same thing. So I’m… I’m thinking that there is a connection for me and my daughter with
dairy that dairy somehow has a connection with acne for us.
So, I don’t know if you have issues with acne.
I don’t know that might be something that you may want to research.
But that’s something that I’ve noticed and I think that’s pretty important.
Now, yeah, so I wanted to show you guys the before. No I want to show you guys the after. That’s right – after.
So guys, one thing that I want to mention to you is that
now I care about each and every one of you. So if you’re starting a new diet.
Please check with your doctor first. So if you’re gonna be doing this carnivore diet with me. Check with your doctor first
because I don’t know what your
medical issues are. So I just wanted to mention that. So now I’m also back on Instagram.
