Sugar is seven times more
addictive than heroin.
It sounds extreme, but it’s true.
And we have the research to back it up.
Researchers have found through brain scans
that the same areas light up in the brain
for sugar addicts than for drug addicts.
So it’s really hard to
deny when you actually see
the brain scans, and you can google this,
you can find this out yourself.
This is not controversial information.
This is very well known information.
Problem is, it’s just well accepted.
There is a reason why we crave sugar,
because it releases
the feel good chemicals
and triggers a certain area of our brain
similar to consuming dangerous drugs.
If you’re addicted to
sugar, it’s not your fault.
It’s not something you
need to be shameful of
or embarrassed of.
It just needs to be
dealt with the same way
that alcohol or drugs are dealt with.
When you get off the
sugar, you’re gonna have
the same withdrawal symptoms
as getting off of a drug.
And we’re comfortable referring to drugs
as a problem as an addiction,
or we’re comfortable
with referring to alcohol

But we’re becoming more
to sugar addiction as

and is plaguing a whole lot of people.

But we need to treat it as the serious,
serious addiction that it is.
The complications that sugar
has on your body is extreme.
It causes spikes and insulin
levels, increases the risk
of diabetes, causes inflammation
and leads to illness.
This is not controversial information,
even the most conservative
nutritionist or medical doctor
is gonna know and we’re gonna
see and we’re gonna be able
to back this up.
Studies have proven this.
Even detecting cancer uses glucose.
So the body feeds on glucose,
cancer cells feed on glucose,
diseases feed on glucose.
you’ve got to eliminate
the sugar from the body.
If you’re gonna wanna see that healing.
You’ve heard me say this a million times
and I’m just gonna keep preaching it,
you cannot lose weight in
the presence of insulin.
Insulin’s job is the absorptive hormone.
So what it does is it opens up the cell
and allows the cell to
absorb the nutrients.
The problem is that while
the insulin is present
in the blood, you’re
not allowed to burn fat.
It blocks all fat burning hormones,
it is just like that, black and white.
Insulin is up, fat burning
hormones like glucagon is down.
So we gotta get that
insulin out of the blood
so that your fat burning
hormones can be turned on
and you can burn fat.
