Bang Bang Shrimp – Low Carb Keto Seafood Appetizer Recipe

Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present
bang bang shrimp. My low carbohydrate version of
this sweet and spicy seafood appetizer
has all the same creamy goodness of the
original, but with less than a half a carohydrate per serving. Perfect for any
low carbohydrate diet. Let’s get started.
We’ll begin by mixing our bang-bang
sauce. Simply add some mayonnaise to a
mixing bowl. Add a touch of sriracha
sauce. And we’ll need about a quarter cup
of a low carbohydrate Thai chili sauce. I’ll be
using my low carbohydrate, spicy and sweet, Asian
sauce. I’ll have a link in the
description for that recipe below. Give a
mix until thoroughly combined.
Even if you don’t make the bang bang
shrimp recipe, make this sauce. It goes
well with just about anything. I used it
on my hamburger the other night. My wife
used some as a salad dressing. It goes
surprisingly well with just about anything.
Cover and store in the refrigerator until later.
For our recipe we’ll need about a
pound of shelled and deveined shrimp. The
ones I’m using here are medium shrimp and
total about 24 to 26 per pound. If you’re
using fresh shrimp like I am here, after
shelling we want to be sure to devein.
To do so, simply run a sharp knife along the
back side and remove the vein.
After we’ve rinsed and patted dry our shrimp,
add them to a bowl and sprinkle about a
teaspoon of your favorite Creole or
Cajun seasoning I’m using Tony Chachere’s
here, but anything that has salt in
it will work fine. Mix the seasoning in
with your hands until all the shrimp are
coated. To a skillet on medium-high heat,
add two tablespoons of unsalted butter.
Add the shrimp and saute for about a
minute or two. You’ll see the shrimp
begin to turn pinkish orange.
Flip the shrimp and cook the other side.
Add our bang bang sauce and stir to heat
through. This very easy to make appetizer
is best served hot over some lettuce and
garnished with a little extra red pepper
flakes. Now sit back and enjoy a creamy
and delicious low carbohydrate seafood appetizer. There you have it folks. My Bang Bang Shrimp recipe.

seafood appetizer. I hope you enjoyed
