Welcome to my kitchen! Today we’re going
to be making burger and fries keto
style. It’s gonna be bacon avocado burger
with great good fats and we’re going to
replace the regular fries, which we never
eat on keto, with jicama fries, which are
much lower in carbohydrates. You’re gonna
add half a pound of ground pork, half a
pound of ground beef, a tablespoon of our
simply good fats organic MCT oil,
one teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, half an onion
diced, two garlic cloves minced, one teaspoon salt,
half teaspoon black pepper ground, eight slices of
the center cut of bacon cooked, one
avocado, 6-12 leaves of crispy romaine
lettuce, slices of red onion, Dijon
mustard or any other condiment of your
choice. For the fries, you’re gonna have
one small jicama, a teaspoon of salt, 1/4
teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon
paprika and two tablespoons of Simply Good
Fat Organic MCT oil. To make the burger
patties I want you to combine the meat,
the MCT oil, Worcestershire sauce, the onion,
the garlic all in a bowl. You’re gonna
really mix it up. Once it’s mixed you’re
gonna add the seasoning. Make sure that
the seasoning is totally distributed
throughout the whole mixture, and then
you’re gonna form your meat patties. Form
the meat into four patties.
You’re going to heat up a pan or a grill
for the keto burgers and you’re going to
cook right to the moment where they’re
perfectly done.
Next, you’re gonna make your keto fries.
You’re gonna peel and slice the jicama
into french fries. It’s sort of like
those little strips. You’ll preheat the
oven to 400, you’re gonna heat a large
pot of water. You’ll add a teaspoon of
salt, once the water is boiling, toss in
the jicama and you’re going to cook just
until it’s slightly tender, about eight
minutes. At that point you’ll drain it
into a bowl with ice to
stop the jicama from continuing to
cook. Once it’s all cool, you’re gonna
dry the jicama gently and place into a
large clean bowl.
I want you to drizzle the two
tablespoons of MCT really sort of toss
it all around. It’s gonna smell so good.
You’re gonna add the rest of the salt,
paprika, garlic powder, and just toss the
jicama keto fries, transfer the seasoned
jicama to the prepared baking sheet, and
you’re gonna bake them for about 30 more
minutes, and then you get to enjoy it
nice and hot. You can then remove them
from the oven. They’re going to be
absolutely delicious with your burger,
which you’re now quickly going to
assemble. You’ll take two pieces of the
romaine lettuce leaves. You’ll put them
down on a plate. You’re gonna top with
your keto burger patty bacon 1/4 of the
avocado, the onions, some mustard you’ll
cover with the top of another leaf or
two of the romaine lettuce, and now
you’ve got a keto burger. Add the fries
and we’re good to go. This mouth-watering
recipe is going to satisfy all of your
cravings. It’s gonna make sure that
you’re at the top of your keto journey.
It’s enriched with MCTs. This burger is
gonna support your brain function,
improve your metabolism, give you enough
energy for the rest of your day, and you
know what, being keto doesn’t have to
restrict you from having your favorite
comfort foods.
