9 HIGH carb foods that burn belly fat

What is up?
Shaun Hadsall here,

And inside today’s short
rapid fat loss video,
I’m going to
introduce you to nine,
count them, high carb foods that
can help you burn belly fat.
This is a unique
group of carbohydrates
called resistance starches.
Now when you consume normal
starches, like potatoes,
or oatmeal, or sweet potatoes,
squash, parsnip, carrots,
these higher glycemic,
higher carb vegetables.
Although they’re very healthy
for you when you consume them,
your body immediately
digests them
in the small intestine where
they’re converted into energy.
And a lot of times
they’re stored as fat.
That’s why I recommend that
you consume them post-workout
when the muscles are like
a sponge that’s hyperactive
and wants to absorb that
glucose inside the bloodstream.
However these 9
carbs that I’m going
to share with you right now
are resistant to digestion,
so they pass right through
to the large intestine.
And what they do there is
they act like a dietary fiber.
Now research shows that this
feeds the gut healthy bacteria,
and about 70% to 80% of our
immune system is in our gut.
It also shows that
these resistant starches
can help with insulin
sensitivity in blood sugar.
This keeps your body in
a fat burning environment
because they pass through
to the large intestine.
They don’t spike
insulin or blood sugar,
so it keeps the body in a
fat burning environment.
It also shows that it
helps decrease appetite,
so it can help with
hunger and cravings.
Now 2 of them, I have in front
of me, are green bananas,
you gotta eat them
when they’re green.
And steel-cut raw oats.
So the thing about these
starches, some of them
are going to shock you but
it’s the way that you eat them.
So the bananas have to be
green, because as they ripen
the sugar content increases.
So the greener the banana, the
more resistant starch it has.
The riper the banana,
the more sugar it has.
Same with steel-cut oats.
You have to eat
them raw for them
to be considered
a resistant starch
and to escape digested and
get all the benefits I just
mentioned.
So I pour this in my protein
shakes after a workout
and I blend it up in a blender.
And it just adds a little
crunch to your shake
and obviously provides all
these amazing health benefits.
So here are a list
of some more here.
I didn’t want to forget
to list them all.
So we had the green unripe
bananas, like I just mentioned.
The raw oats.
And I recommend this brand right
here, which is Bob’s Red Mill.
These are organic.
They also have cooled potatoes.
So after you boil
or bake a potato
and you let it cool
down, the resist starch
increases as it cools down.
So eating cool potatoes.
Also cooled white rice.
I’m a white rice lover.
I love regular white rice,
and I don’t even mind it cold.
So my wife will cook
up some stir fry.
I’ll let it chill in
the fridge overnight.
And then I’ll have
that after a workout,
along with a protein shake.
Also cooled or chilled pasta.
Now, you probably had
cold pasta salad before,
so you can make a
healthy version of this.
My wife makes this amazing
pesto with olive oil,
and I pour that
on the cool pasta.
It is delicious.
Then cooled or chilled
lentils, or cooled or chilled
beans, white beans,
and raw potato starch.
And raw potato starch, I
think, just comes in a powder.
And I think the same
brand, this Bob’s Red Mill.
I think they make
a potato starch.
Again, that’s just something
that you can put in a protein
shake before you blend it up.
And it’s probably not even
going to affect the flavor
whatsoever.
