5-DAY KETO EGG JUMPSTART DIET | FULL WEIGH IN RESULTS

hey guys welcome back to my channel if
we’ve never met before my name is
Heather Gerhart and I make videos every
Tuesday and Thursday on life food family
and fun so that’s product reviews
parenting marriage makeup and some food
and this month we’re kind of focusing
most of the videos on a keto diet and
how I do it and how it’s affecting me
and some fun recipes in there if you
didn’t see last week’s video I have a
keto recipes that is a dessert ice cream
sandwiches and also some fun home
exercise equipment that’s affordable so
check out those videos from last week I
will link them in the cards above as
well so today I’m talking about the
5-day egg induction diet on keto it’s
supposed to jump start your ketosis and
help you drop some weight if you’re
stalling or if you’re just starting out
and so these are my results so if that
is of interest to you stay tuned and
let’s do this
you be our Eggman right okay so it is
January and from Thanksgiving until the
end of the year I went off of Quito to
enjoy the holidays I enjoyed them a
little too much there may have been to
my jag milk but I gained eight point
eight pounds oh my gosh eight and a half
pounds eight point eight pounds over the
holiday and so I was trying to get back
into Quito and drop that weight fast and
kind of get back into the way that I
love to live and so I weighed in at the
beginning and so I’m going to show you
what I weighed in at at the beginning
okay here I am in front of the dreaded
scale three days after Christmas okay
but I’m going to show you this and let’s
just see what the damage is all the way
I’m clothed right now so clearly I’m
gonna take off 12 pounds for the
clothing because that seems reasonable
great okay so I know that doesn’t seem
like a lot one 23.8 but I’m a 5 foot 2
petite framed person and so gaining
almost 9 pounds it’s a full size up in
clothes and so that’s just not
acceptable so I went on this kind of
logged a little bit throughout the time
to kind of see if this was all it was
cracked up to be
so day 1 this is what I had
day one starting with an egg on light
that has
well maybe soul food and a happen on the
cup
now as I went along you know there’s
only so many things you can do with eggs
in one ounce of cheese and some fat with
it and so I kind of did
one day I ate the same thing all day
long the second day I changed to
definite something different all day
long and so the things that I did was I
made cream cheese egg pancakes for one
day I did egg salad with some cayenne
pepper and smoked paprika to kind of
spice that up one day but then one day I
did omelets with cheese and one of the
days I stuck one piece of bacon chopped
up into that just to have a little bit
of variety we were going a bit nuts and
then scrambled eggs one day as well so
it kind of changed it up a few times by
day three I was already in ketosis now
my husband did this to his was super
dark purple by day three I couldn’t
believe it
mine was pretty dark but his was like
full-on ketosis totally in by day three
on day four it’s starting to get pretty
hard but we were seeing the results we
were in ketosis I didn’t feel the carb
flue which is pretty amazing and on the
fifth day in the morning this is what
happened it’s day five starting to have
nightmares about eggs I don’t know if I
can make it this past day no more eggs
okay so there you have it five days in
totally in ketosis I lost four pounds
which you know for someone that doesn’t
need to lose a ton of weight that is
pretty amazing in for you know four and
a half days losing four pounds my
husband lost seven it pretty much hate
him right now
because he only did it for days and then
at dinner he ate Lokar chili and still
dropped seven pounds in five days and a
swollen ketosis oh yeah
anyway I think this works I think that
the hardest part is just you get really
sick of eggs but I think it totally
works it gets you in quick it
jump-starts your ketosis it helps you
drop some weight pretty fast and I love
it so if you’re interested in trying it
I think you should go for it you can get
those ketone strips at like CVS or
Walgreens they really only work in the
beginning though because once your body
starts really using those ketones for
energy and all that and then it doesn’t
really register as much on those strips
and you’ll think you’re out of ketosis
but you’re really not but if you’ve gone
off of it or you’re just starting those
things are a really good indicator of
whether or not you’re in ketosis so I
hope this is helpful if you are
considering starting this type of keto
induction jumpstart diet definitely –
