16lbs Shed in 13 Days [A Keto Transformation Interview with Chris McDaniel]

16lbs Shed in 13 Days [A Keto Transformation Interview with Chris McDaniel]

July 19, 2019 0 By William Morgan

Hi everybody, come on in.
I am back with another Keto interview.
We are taking 10 brave souls on camera through
their Keto transformation.
So, really quick.
I’m just going to click this button really
quick and share this to my coaching groups
so that all of my coaching clients can be
on here engaging and asking questions as well
if they want to be.
There we go, I’m going to share with a group
The Keto Days Group coaching program.
Perfect.
All right!
Christopher, do you go by Christopher?
Do you go by Chris?
It doesn’t matter.
I’ve been called everything.
What do you like?
Chris is fine.
Okay, I’m going to make a note
of that.
Some people do not like their name shortened,
and they’ll tell me it’s okay.
And then I find out they never really go by
that short name.
This is my first time meeting Chris for everybody
who’s watching.
Chris, nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you as well.
All right!
So you are one of my favorites, and I say
that because you are so engaged in the group
and you’re being super accountable, you’re
supporting others, you’re sharing your success
and those are my favorite kind of clients
to have because obviously, it benefits everybody.
So tell me before you started working with
me just a couple weeks ago, had you had any
experience with the Ketogenic lifestyle?
I’ve never actually been on it.
I’ve done a lot of research, and I’ve been
researching it for probably about six months.
I’ve done a lot of things in the past.
I’ve done some weight loss programs that you
buy all your food from them, stuff like that.
And after about three days I got really sick.
I’ve done you name it, I’ve tried it.
I’ve given up.
When Keto kind of dropped off my radar and
I started researching it and my mom did Atkins
diet when I was younger and things like that.
So I kind of knew similarities to the two
and kind of knew what kind of foods I could
and could not eat and stuff like that.
So I started diving into more of the health
benefits and what could or could not happen
to my health.
What things could improve and stuff like that.
That’s why I pursued Keto, and then the opportunity
to do this with you kind of just fell in my
lap and I was really excited about it.
I forgot who it was that volunteered
you for my case study.
Michelle
Was it Michelle?
Yes!
Yes.
Fantastic!
I think you and Michelle ran
into each other at Mega Camp.
And unbeknownst to me, I was sitting down
at the table right next to you, so we didn’t
hadn’t met, but you were standing behind me.
Oh, how funny!
Isn’t that funny?
You never know what paths are going to lead
to where and really small world.
Well good.
She really cheerleaded for me to choose you
as one of the members of the group, I definitely
made sure that as you continue to shed all
these pounds, that you give her extra love
and attention because that’s fantastic.
Now, you had a killer start.
So you started with me on January 1st.
I started on the 2nd.
On the 2nd and tell everybody
what your progress is so far.
I’m down 16 pounds from where
I weighted on the 2nd.
I was actually kind of dumbfounded.
I was floored this morning when
I stepped on the scale.
I missed weighing yesterday, so I do have
an extra day on it.
But, still did 16 pounds.
And, I won’t lie, the very first day I didn’t
prepare, and I walked into the office, and
I did my normal routine.
I made a toaster strudel.
And I was so mad.
They were all yelling at me at the office.
Michelle was yelling at me, and I was like,
okay, we will negotiate.
I will give up one toaster strudel and only
eat one, but I have to eat.
And then every day from there, I won’t say
it’s been easy, but just because I’ve been
so determined that I’m going to do this and
this is how it’s going to happen.
Even if you went into my cabinet, you would
probably freak out, Lori, because it’s all
of my Keto food up above it.
And then the shelf below is full of candy
and stuff for my spouse.
And he just sits there, and he eats candy
all day, and I look at him, and I’m like you
go right ahead and enjoy your diabetes.
That’s right.
If he only knew.
That is tough.
That is really tough, and I’m impressed.
And I do want to say to that I loved what
you owned up to the toaster strudel.
You did post that in our Facebook group right
out of the gate that this is what happened,
and here are my numbers and here’s where the
toaster strudel is reflected.
Just by being self-accountable is a big part
of success.
And with all of this is acknowledging and
understanding and knowing where there’s traps
or pitfalls, and like you just said you just
weren’t prepared.
You went in there, and you were hungry.
But, I do understand that when you said about
having your foods and having somebody else
in the households foods.
Actually, you know what I did, because I have
a teenager at home and I went ahead and bought
a rolling cart.
It’s three or four shelves, and
I have all of my Keto foods on the cart, and
I don’t even go into the pantry anymore at
all.
She is 15, and she gets up and gets her own
darn chips and snacks and cookies and whatnot.
If I’m going to cook it’s coming from other
things.
But that was personally how I did it.
I don’t know if you’re going to struggle with
that at all, but personally, I had to separate
it because I saw chips ahoy cookies and I
wanted the damn cookies.
Just saying,
Well, it’s funny because I control,
I mean I do the grocery shopping, so he’s
like, when are you going to buy me chips?
And I’m like when you go to the store and
get them.
So you locked it out of just even
buying it so that you’re not dealing with
it.
And you would hope that spouses will be supportive
of one another in a case like that.
But that isn’t always the case.
And if one wants to change the other doesn’t,
or one has a problem, and the other doesn’t,
the other one doesn’t necessarily want to
do those things.
I’ll tell you that I’m divorced now, but when
I was married, my ex was going through a diet
which is very much like Keto.
I just didn’t know the name of it at the time.
It was very cute.
And now that I’m looking back on it, and he
was on low carb thing, and I was pissed, I
was mad.
I was like, no, you’re not getting rid of
my orange juice.
So I’ve been on the other side of it where
I’m like, okay, good, you don’t want to eat
dinner.
I remember.
Although, I wasn’t bitter like that.
Like I am saying it.
But I remember saying to him, normal people
eat three times a day, breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
And we would appreciate it if you would sit
down and have dinner with us.
It’s kind of funny now.
I feel a little hypocritical and bad about
it, but I didn’t understand, and I think that’s
a big key is making sure that we’re getting
some sort of buy-in and let the other person
realizes that we’re really trying to be healthy
and improve our lives, but we can’t push it
on them.
Absolutely.
And it’s been kind of funny.
He has been very supportive.
He just kind of like when he wants candy,
and he knows I’m home, he’ll be hiding on
the other end of the couch with his M&M’s
and kind of have the jar tuck down, and I’ll
be like, I know what you’re eating.
Go ahead and eat them.
It’s not bothering me.
It’s funny.
It is tough when there are different
journeys.
But as long as they can do their thing, you
can do your thing, then that’s perfectly fine.
Ruby says she’s been on Keto since August
and lost 40 pounds, but her husband has lost
70.
So, Brittany, men, and women are different
and also no two people are the same either.
I have found people that barely lose a pound
a week, and I’ve had others that just look
like they melted overnight.
I lost 50 pounds in six months.
My brother lost 50 pounds and probably about
the same time frames.
We were pretty close, but it historically,
men do lose more and faster than women.
So don’t let that upset you.
Just keep going.
Hormones will freak out a woman’s body like
crazy.
So just keep that in mind.
All right!
Jill’s cheering you on here.
Chris as well.
So what is your goal, Chris?
What is it that you’d like to achieve working
with Keto and me.
I’m just kind of a better understanding.
There’s been some kind of, some struggles
with some things and really my goal is to
get down to 200 pounds or where I felt comfortable
of 200 pounds is.
Is too skinny.
Like if I get the 220 and you know, it’s too
skinny, then I, you know, I’m going to stop
the weight loss side of it.
And at that point, I don’t necessarily say
I want to do what everybody calls the dirty
Keto, but you know, have a little bit more
loose reins on myself to where I’m not.
Like, how you always talk about that, you
do still have a drink here and there.
You do eat carbs here and there.
Just understanding that, naturally, you may
gain a pound or two, but then you’re going
to go back into ketosis, and they’re going
to come back off.
Yes, that’s a lifestyle, right?
Yes.
That’s kind of where I want to get to because
obesity runs in my family and I just can’t
keep living the way I’m living.
Good.
Well, it sounds like you’ve got some motivation
then.
And I did notice you did these like gangbusters
and you came on strong, and you’re committed.
I’m sure you will still run into challenges,
and that’s what I’m here for.
So when you run into something that is an
emotional upset or a situational upset.
Don’t hesitate to reach out as quick as things
happen.
Or if you’re in a situation where you feel
like you need somebody to give you advice
or to listen or hey, this is what’s about
to happen.
I’m about to eat a whole pizza by myself.
Sometimes, I might tell you to eat it.
The first time that I’ve had somebody ready
to crash and burn that.
I said you know why you eat those darn carbs
today because it’s a day and everybody needs
to have it.
I had it.
Mine was after my grandmother passed away,
I was doing really, really good and I sat
at my grandmother’s death bed for three days,
and it was the most stressful emotional thing
ever.
And I came home.
I did great the first night, and then I was
nominated for food.
So I brought bacon and sausage.
I did all the good stuff.
And then everybody said they wanted like chick
filet or whatever.
Somebody wanted donuts, and somebody else
wanted fast food, and I was a food person.
Well now I’m toast, right?
I missed the Krispy Kremes now and there.
And by night three, I came home, and I ate
a whole sleeve of Oreo cookies.
I drank a soda and the next morning I went
to a big breakfast and ate the big bread and
then I thought back on and I was fine.
It didn’t kill me, it was a thing,
and there will be times for that.
The more we can stay on.
The less toaster strudel episodes will have
the better, but nobody’s going to be perfect.
What fun would that be anyway?
Right.
Why do we want where we have to be so ridiculously
structured and just what you just said?
I counted everything until I hit my 50-pound
loss, which is what I was going for.
And then I stopped counting.
Now, I do look at everything.
If I’m eating something new, I look at it.
I don’t go to a restaurant and just order
whatever.
I still look things up.
I know what my crack slaw is.
I know what my steak and asparagus is going
to be because you’re trained now.
I know what my lemon drop Martini is going
to run me and that’s perfect.
I make those choices, but I’m more Keto than
not, and I’m in Ketosis most of the time.
So that’s the way I definitely have chosen
to do it.
So did you run into any other challenges,
this first couple of weeks?
Bread.
It’s been the biggest thing I missed.
I’m not like a sandwich kind of person.
Like, Oh, let me go get a ham sandwich.
I’m kind of bread, but my grandmother was
French, so growing up, we always had freshly
baked bread, croissants, pastries.
I mean, you name it and, and sometimes it
was even homemade.
You can’t get any better than a hundred percent
blooded French woman cooking you homemade
French bread.
So, I have a love passion for bread and pastries
and things like that, and that’s, it’s been
rough.
We went to Longhorn, the other night and I
ordered my steak, and my broccoli and they
brought the bread to the table, and I just
kept staring at it, and that’s when Shane,
my partner, he looks at me, and he goes, did
you want some?
And I’m like, no.
And he’s like, then why do you keep looking
at it?
And I’m like, just let me smell it.
And he started laughing, and he’s like, no.
I’ll give you a few of my thoughts
on this.
Instead of telling yourself, no, tell yourself,
yes, but it has to be a tiny little bit.
If we’re going to do it this way.
If you can’t, if you’re one of those people
that takes one little bite, you need the whole
darn thing that doesn’t taste any, but what
I would do is take a little tiny bit so that
you’re telling yourself, yes, you’re not programming
your brain that you’re living in lack.
You’re living in abundance.
I can have this bread, but I’m choosing only
to have this much tiny little slice of it
and smother it in butter.
Because you’re getting that extra healthy
fat out of it and you were only going to get
a teeny little, you’re not going to get a
massive amount of carbs and a little bit of
a sliver.
But if you just sit there and stare at the
bread and say, I can’t have it, I can’t have
it.
Then we start, we don’t even realize we’re
setting ourselves up for one of those moments
where we feel like, screw it, I’m going through
a lot.
I’m just going to have whatever.
Because you feel like you’ve been having a
lack all that time now if you’re just expressing
that you wish you could have had it, but you
were okay.
Different story.
Two different way of looking at it.
I honestly think I was pretty
much okay with it because like I said when
I started this.
I’m at the end of my rope and full transparency.
When I started before the opportunity with
you came along, I had talked to Shane, and
I had told him that if I was going to do Keto
either way.
And this kind of jump start it, and I think
it really gave me a stronger foundation.
And I said to him, if this does not work for
me, I’m having gastric surgery because I don’t
want the health risks that my family and stuff
have.
I know that I’m going to be opening myself
up to a whole different slew of them.
But I told him those are the lesser of two
evils for me.
And I want to be here when I have kids, and
I want to see them graduate high school and
things like that.
And the path that I was going down, I wasn’t
going to see that.
You’re motivated, you’ve got a
big one.
There’s a lot of motivation.
Yeah.
Okay, good.
Keep the little thing in the back of your
head that if that ever does happen, that you
really feel like you’re being left out or
something.
There might be opportunities.
Was it you with the ice cream this week?
They wanted to make ice cream.
I did make the ice cream and
then when I put all the ingredients in there,
and I figured out what caused the carb count
to go way up like that.
I was just like, okay.
So then I made the ice cream.
I froze it the next day I was like, Oh, I’m
going to have some.
But I thought about it and thought about it,
and I was like, you know what?
I don’t, I just don’t need it.
Like I haven’t.
I crave ice cream.
That was my biggest vice, and so when I found
the recipe, I was like, no, I don’t mean to
do this.
And then I just dumped it out and like I wasn’t
mad about dumping it out.
I wasn’t mad about taking us like, okay, let
me get a spoonful first.
Like I didn’t even taste it.
And it was just one of those things where
I was like, I thought to myself, okay, do
you want to keep living like you’re living
or do you want to have the moment of this
ice cream?
And I know that’s not going to be for everybody,
but for me I just, I, I just couldn’t do it.
So I found a different recipe that will hopefully
be a little bit better, and I’m kind of on
that aspect of if I do make it, it’s a spoonful
at a time.
Like okay, I need to get some more fat because
it was high in fat.
Let me go have a spoonful of that as opposed
to let me go eat bread or something.
So they’re just like again, one
of those cases where you’re saying, yes, I
can have it, but I’m going to choose to have
a spoonful instead of a bowl for a gallon
for whatever we tend to eat with ice cream.
I can eat ice cream like crazy too.
I started getting the halo top ice cream,
but not until I hit goal weight because those
first four months or whatever, the less sweet
stuff you can do, the better off you’re going
to be for it.
You can also, I don’t know if you tried yet,
but you can make bread.
You can make bread and muffins and sausage,
cheese, biscuits.
We make it with almond flour and coconut flour
instead of wheat flour.
The only drawback is they tend to be.
Well, they’re not going to be as good as your
grandma’s bread.
No way are they going to be anywhere
near your grandma’s bread.
So you have to know that going in.
But it smells good.
I make blueberry muffins.
I make loaves of bread.
I make sausage the best of the sausage egg
and Cheddar Biscuits.
But you are going to have higher calories,
and they’re going to be like a net 3 or net
4 carbs for one.
So if you feel like you need to, you can explore
what type of bread, but you’re going to be
using like Stevia or swerve or one of those
Keto sweeteners, and they’re going to have
a lot more calories than you’re probably used
to.
So if you’ve got room in your budget for something
and you want to do bread, you can.
Because if you find that you have a weakness
for it and you eat the whole loaf, you’re
going to be in trouble, even though it’s Keto
friendly, because of the calories.
We’ll keep that in mind.
I do have bread recipes in our group and the
Keto days recipes, and you can take a look
at some of those.
Do you have a question?
Yeah.
So the other thing, the other struggle that
I really had is the artificial sweeteners.
And I think that’s kind of why I’ve stayed
away from trying to make a lot of the sweet
things.
And I think it’s the Stevia, I’ve tried Stevia,
I’ve tried the monk fruit, but the monk fruit
I ordered had something else in it with it.
So I ordered straight a monk fruit this time
and pure Erythritol.
So I’m going to try those two again, and if
not, then I’m just going to stay away from
it because it’s not like I have to have it
type deal.
Yeah.
So the major differences are the Erythritol,
the straight has a cooling sensation.
So I will make that if I’m going to make cookies
that are going to live in my freezer because
I love Keto cookies in the freezer.
I’ll use the straight Erythritol.
But it does have this really strange cooling
almost like
I’ve noticed that.
Yeah.
Okay.
So not everybody likes that.
Like I said, unless I’m, I’ll do it with a
frozen thing.
I won’t use that one.
Monk fruit is definitely the best of all of
them.
It’s not really, it’s not really a sweetener
as the other ones are.
So you can get by with a lot more, but it
does also have a different flavor to it.
Like I love it.
I love monk fruit syrup and monk fruit, powdered
sugar.
My teenager can’t stand it.
She liked Swerve.
Swerve is my family, our family favorite,
my brother’s family.
They all do the Swerve.
But you do have more attitudes in this Swerve
that makes it so wonderful.
So you’ll just have to count that.
I think swerve is pretty much the darling
of the Keto world today.
Pretty much.
Xylitol is another option, but it’s toxic
to dogs.
So I don’t even touch it.
I have a cat.
It makes me nervous.
I have a couple of dogs so I
would be scared that they would get into it.
Make sure you stay away from anything
that has Xylitol starts with an X, avoid that.
But you know, you can play with that if you
feel comfortable like you sound more like
me.
Like you really got a lot of motivation right
now, and you care more about your goal than
you do about the food.
I just kind of want to give you options, and
I always coached my clients to stay away from
all of that stuff as long as you can.
But, you know, not everybody’s the same.
Some people are going to have to cook and
bake and do those alternatives absolutely.
I didn’t, so I’m not a big snacker anyway.
So it wasn’t that hard for me to avoid that
stuff.
I kept dark chocolate squares, Ghirardelli
dark chocolate.
And if I absolutely had to have a sweet, they
were five carbs for one square, little square,
one of those little, little.
But it was worth it.
I would go, okay, I’m going.
Because I would drop my carb so low, I’d like
10 carbs in a day, and I would have the room
to do that.
And it’s only 60 calories for one of those
little squares of dark chocolate.
Lily’s makes an actual chocolate
bar.
Now.
I’ve seen it.
I, I keep one in the house at a time, and
I’ll allow myself, like if I really need something
sweet, like I’ll eat like two or three of
the small squares.
But I, I’ve, I’ve stopped eating after 8:00
at night and I don’t eat again until 1 the
next afternoon.
Because I’m not hungry so when I wake up,
if I’m not hungry I don’t eat.
That’s why I was asking you about the espresso
because that’s what I do is I just two straight
shots of espresso over ice.
That gets me going in the morning.
I get here to the office and today we looked
up, it was almost 1:00 and I was like, you
know, I think I might be hungry.
And everybody was looking at me like, are
you, are you okay?
You’re usually talking about food at 9:00
AM.
And I’m like, no, I’m good.
The beauty of Keto getting those
fats in and we’re just not hungry.
People always think we’re crazy when we don’t
eat.
And I feel people are saying you’re not healthy,
but now it’s not true.
You don’t even have to add any dietary fat
if you’ve got enough fat to lose.
Your body’s going to be perfectly healthy
eating the fat that’s on your body, but the
dietary fat makes all the difference in the
world of why you’re full and that intermittent
fasting that you’re doing is going to be such
a good boost for your clarity, for your energy,
for your fat burning.
So I’m glad that you started at.
I always tell people like after, so long as
you’re fat adapted or Keto adapted, which
it sounds like you are, then it’s okay to
start intermittent fasting.
A lot of people try to just do it at day one.
I’m like, oh, you’re crazy.
You’re going to be hungry.
You got to get those fats in there.
Which it sounds like you’re doing really well.
You’re using card manager for an APP, right?
Yes.
Okay, perfect.
Alright, so what we’re going to be doing is,
you got on my calendar for the three-person
call.
Did you see the Sabrina send that out?
Okay, good.
So, what I’m looking at now is you guys are
all going to be on pretty similar paces, week
one, week two, week, three timeframes, but
that doesn’t mean you’ll all have the same
results or the same challenges.
So it’ll be kind of nice for us as a group
to kind of compare, not compare, cheer each
other on and talk about what we’re going through.
And, I can coach several of you because you
will start running into some of the same things
about the same timeframe where the boredom
kicks in or if you know, we all would be facing
holidays together or summer vacations at the
same time.
So it’ll be good for us all to kind of talk
like that.
But you can reach out anytime in between there.
You can of course post in the facebook group,
and I’m going to continue monitoring your
progress and watching what you’re doing in
there.
You lost 16 pounds.
So a big onset of water weight loss.
Are you measuring inches as well?
I haven’t.
I didn’t actually even think about it this
morning.
So when I go home tonight, I’m going to, just
to kind of see what the difference is, and
I’m going to log it on the website.
I realized that afterwards.
Do it in the morning because that’s
going to be your best results.
I think you’re really going to love what happens
to your stomach while you’re going through
all of this.
That’s where most of us see the results the
quickest and seeing those extra inches coming
up is that much more of a boost as well.
So, do that.
Do you have any other questions or thoughts
or concerns?
I do have two.
One, I have a food dish that I actually do
crave a lot, and when I put it into card manager,
it’s really high in carbs because of the noodles
and stuff it uses.
It’s a Vietnamese soup.
So I’m trying figure out if it’s just a broth
or not.
It has noodles in it?
It does, but it’s a bone broth
soup.
So what I’m trying to do is to figure out
if the bone broth is Keto friendly because
there’s not really any sugar or anything like
that in it.
Bone broth is Keto friendly, noodles
are not.
Okay.
And do you know if there’s any alternative?
Is bean sprouts, bad for Keto?
You know what, hold on.
It’s funny because I actually liked bean sprouts
and that’s something I’ve never.
Yeah they are, they are Keto friendly vegetable
underutilized and great in a stir fry.
Those would be good in crack slaw.
I was thinking about that when
I saw that recipe, I don’t know if you ever
heard a Vietnamese soup, so it has a really
good Asian flavor for people that are missing
that.
And I obviously I can’t put all the extras
and that they put in when you get it at a
restaurant, but I was thinking about just
using the bean sprouts as my noodle alternative,
and then it has like meats and things like
that, and it’s a very fatty bone broth.
So it would be a really good way for someone
to get fats and stuff and I’m just trying
to figure out how to convert it to a good
recipe.
That’ll be good for us.
Yeah.
You might want to post the recipe in the Facebook
group, and then we can all give some feedback
on replacements.
I have no idea.
A lot of us replaced noodles and pasta would
like Zucchini noodles.
I don’t know how those would be in a suit
because I’m so not a chef, but you definitely
don’t want to use any kind of regular wheat
noodles.
Even gluten-free noodles don’t work because
they’re going to be really, really high in
carbs.
So if you can figure out something that still
has the consistency that you like, I love
the idea of the bean sprouts.
I am going to add that to my crack slaw because
they’re crunchy.
I love the idea of having that.
Have you tried the crack slaw yet?
I have not.
It’s on my next rotation.
I’ve kind of have a lot of challenges ahead
of me.
I’m leaving to go out of town on Friday.
I will be with family for four days, which
the good thing is.
It’s actually my cousin who’s also chosen
to try Keto, so I’m going to be cooking some
things for her, and that’s one of the ones
that I’m planning on trying to cook for her
to show her, you can have a lot of the same
things.
To me, it’s like, hey, you need to see that
you can just substitute everything.
And that’s what the learning for me has been.
You can literally substitute almost everything.
Yep.
I haven’t had a hard time.
Cauliflower mashed is your potatoes, cauliflower
scooped is your baked soup.
We can make fat head pizza with almond, and
with a crust made of out of Mozzarella cheese.
You’re right.
It’s incredible.
The crack slaw has that Asian soy sauce, so
instead of soy sauce.
I use Aminos, and that is just such an incredible,
incredible dish.
In fact, that’s what I’m making for dinner
tonight.
Now, I’m starting to water because I have
not eaten yet today either.
So I’m like, yeah, that sounds really good.
As I said on the call earlier, I can eat a
whole portion.
I can eat the whole thing, like a pan, the
whole pound of hamburger or something.
I’m going to have to try it.
Yeah.
Incredible.
And so stupid easy.
I just always keep the coleslaw.
I order it just already prepared.
It’s in my fridge.
Always have hamburger already and just throw
it on and go.
It’s super, super easy and there are lots
of ways that you can mix it.
What’s not Keto?
Brittany?
I’ll send you on Facebook messenger.
Keto.
I don’t know what she was saying.
Something was not Keto.
I think I know, well she did
say what she’s sending on Facebook messenger
is a noodle.
I did find the actual noodle.
It’s called wonder noodle or something like
that.
I forget what it’s made out of, but it says
that it’s Keto friendly and I’ve been wanting
to do a little more research on it.
So it’s a fettuccine wonder noodles
at Thrive Market, gluten-free.
Let’s just take a look.
What are wonder noodles made from?
Certified Vegan?
It’s made from water Konjac flower and calcium.
Old fashioned pickled line.
Okay.
Well, if that’s what it is, it sure sounds
okay.
Let me know how that turns out.
I am not your recipe guru.
I guess I stayed basic and simple like steak,
hamburgers with no bun, chicken enchiladas,
and a bowl, bacon, and eggs.
I didn’t start with any of the recipes until
like September of just passed.
So that’s all new to me too.
So I haven’t learned all of the replacements
quite yet.
So I would share what I do using, whatever
you like you can share too.
Was there another question you had to.
Was that it?
It’s just with the soup and then
those noodles.
Those noodles were because it says that there
zero carb.
And when I looked at the ingredients, I didn’t
really see anything that we couldn’t have.
So I just wanted to make sure before I went
in and had them, I don’t want to knock myself
out of Ketosis.
Brittany, sharing with us, this
soya pasta, zero shirataki noodles spaghetti.
I’ve never tried them.
That are some other noodles made
of Shirataki?
There’s that one that I’m looking at.
Yeah.
I don’t know.
I might have to try that too because I do
love noodles too so we’ll have to try those
and compare and see how they work out.
So, alright cool.
Well message me if you have anything, keep
posted in the Facebook group, and we’ll compare
on the noodles and good luck with your family
and your travels.
Just do your best and still keep checking
in and posts your macros and stuff.
Even if you don’t eat perfect, post macros,
because it’ll help you.
And you seem like a very self-accountable
person anyway.
So I don’t expect to have to chase you to
do that anyway.
Brittany says boil those noodles
before you use them.
Boil them even before you put them in with
the soup.
All right, good to know.
We will learn about our shirataki noodles
because none of us know.
All right, well thank you so much for joining
me, Chris.
I’m super proud of you.
You’re doing fantastic.
Everybody else thanks for joining us today
and we will be back with some more Keto transformation
stories, and it’s exciting to watch everybody’s
journey as they go through this.
Thank you, Chris, for sharing with us.
We appreciate it
Thank you.
All right.
We will talk to you later.
