10 of my favorite pre workout meals that are proven and very effective for
getting your energy levels really high for your workout number one bananas bananas are great because
they’re easily digestible and provide your body potassium and I’m sure you’ll
be needing that potassium because you’re gonna be sweating very very hard during
your workout really any kind of fruit before workout will help try mixing in
your fruit with some fat-free Greek yogurt for protein number to a mixture
of white rice and brown rice this actually used to be my favorite
pre-workout meal because it would give me a ton of steady-state energy and
quick explosive energy you eat the white rice for fast easily digestible energy
and the brown rice for slower digesting longer duration and by eating both you got all bases covered
you can have this was some chicken breast or some other sources of protein
like lagoons just make sure that you have a lead source of protein with this

contain B vitamins which are the vitamins responsible for converting

easy and convenient way to get your pre-workout cards in if you want to keep
it quick and easy then you can have some hard boiled eggs with your whole wheat
bread number six a big potato even have a yam or sweet potato as well but those
aren’t as easily digestible as a regular basis he know so they won’t be available
for energy as quickly if you want you could mix baked potato with sweet potato
to get the benefits out of bowl and you can have this was some fish or whatever
low-fat protein that you like to eat with potatoes number seven a green
smoothie with some fruit what’s a better way of going into your workout then with
all of your micro and macro nutrients available for use to make this movie
just blend together some green veggies like kale spinach chard or broccoli and
some fruits you can also add a scoop of protein smoothie to have your protein
needs covered number eight is equal turkey or chicken wrap a really hard to
work with and they tend to fall apart sometimes but if you heat them up before
working with them they become a lot more valuable if you really hate these eco
wraps and you can go with the regular multigrain tortilla as well and you can
double wrap your chicken or turkey with two rats instead of one if you need the
extra calories or the extra carbohydrates for energy number nine
apples and peanut butter even though this isn’t the best pre-workout meal
because of the fat found in the peanut butter if you really don’t feel like
eating a whole meal and would rather have a snack the apples and peanut
butter really could give you the energy you need for your workout this meal is
not for the people that have a slower digestive system because it’s gonna take
them forever to digest that peanut butter the last thing that we want to
run the workout is for the blood to be redirected towards the stomach for
digestion rather than the muscles where it needs to be for your workout and
number 10 power bars and protein bars even though this is far from what I
would call the greatest pre-workout meal this can be a real lifesaver for those
times when you just can’t get to any whole food now I want a real quick
answer all pre-workout meal timing questions how long before your workout
you should eat food is very dependent upon the individual if the individual
has a fast I justice system then they may want to eat their meals 30 to 60
minutes before their workout whereas if the individual has a slower digestive
system and they feel nauseous sometimes when they eat too close to their workout
they may want two weeks you to two and a half hours after their pre-workout meal
