045 – Is A Weekly Cheat-day Acceptable

045 – Is A Weekly Cheat-day Acceptable

Hey, it’s Rocky Black from DailyKetoChef.com.
There are some diet systems that advocate
6 days of “clean eating” based on specific
diet principles… and then on the seventh
day, you can eat whatever you want. It’s called
a cheat day. Is cheat day OK? Well, there
is no black and white answer here. There are
all shades of grey in this case. It all really
depends on your weight-loss goals and your
will-power. If you want or need to lose weight
as fast as humanly possible, cheat days are
not an option for you. They will slow down
your progress significantly. They can even
cause a yo-yo effect. If you know that it’s
impossible for you to jump into a new diet
and stick to it 100% all the time… then
cheat-day may be some kind of assistance for
you. From my point of view, it’s better for
someone to eat clean for 6 days and then cheat
for one day… than to cheat a little bit
every day. On the other hand… The only thing
I know for sure is that people who don’t cheat,
are much more likely to hit their weight-loss
targets. People who use cheat-days often feel
demotivated, because cheat days can sometimes
ruin weeks of their dedication in a snap of
a finger. So it really all depends. I’m not
against it and I don’t advocate it either.
It can help someone and it can really hurt
someone else. It’s all relative. Hope this
helps! If you want more powerful tips like
