or you’ve already started and you’re
just not sure what you’re gonna be
getting out of it
well in this video I’m gonna be telling
you all about the keto pot of gold at
the end of the rainbow no I’m not I’m
kidding
there is no pot of gold at the end of
the rainbow there are however some
amazing health benefits taquitos so

okay so why is everyone getting all
crazy about keto all of a sudden I mean
keto diet has actually been around for
almost a hundred years now
well it’s because it turns out people
are starting to realize it has some
crazy good health benefits but before I
get into all the technical stuff for me
personally the biggest benefit over all
is my energy levels are high and they
stay high throughout the day I don’t
feel like I’m dragging in the morning
and I don’t feel like I’m crashing in
the afternoon
since keto basically regulates your
blood sugar level more efficiently
people just tend to feel more energetic
ok let’s get into it the number one
reason why people are researching keto
right now is weight loss the keto diet
is gaining steam and in some cases being
hailed as the holy grail of diets
especially for weight loss the truth is
that the keto diet transforms your body
into a fat-burning machine and a story
the studies that I’ve researched all had
similar results the keto diet was
significantly more effective at weight
loss versus the calorie and fat
restricted diets with relative
improvements in both insulin sensitivity
and triglyceride levels more on what
those mean intimate the number two
health benefit is that keto is the most
effective treatment known against
metabolic syndrome metabolic syndrome
actually has to do with the collection
of symptoms that include obesity high
blood pressure high triglyceride levels
low HDL levels and high fasting blood
sugars low carb diets like keto pretty
much reverse all of them number three is
that more of the fat loss comes from the
abdominal region there are two types of
fat to consider when you’re talking
about losing weight with keto we have
what’s called subcutaneous fat which is
the fat under our skin and we also have
what’s called visceral fat in our
abdominal regions which can get launched
around organs cause
inflamation resistance to insulin and
just overall metabolic dysfunction
that’s why keto is so powerful because
low carb diets like heel are super
effective at getting rid of this real
fat which can reduce the risk of heart
disease as well as type-2 diabetes
number four is appetite suppression one
of the top reasons people fail or give
up when changing their diet is hunger
low carb diets like keto have somewhat
of an automatic benefit in decreasing
your appetite causing you to eat fewer
calories and have less cravings without
actively trying number 5 is reduced
followed sugar and insulin levels when
you eat carbohydrates your body breaks
them down into glucose and then they
enter the bloodstream which raises your
blood sugar because the blood sugars are
toxic your body secretes the insulin
hormone which triggers your body to
either burn or store the blood sugars
this is where many people have problems
they get what’s called resistant to the
insulin which causes your body to not
have the ability to regulate the blood
sugar properly and ultimately can cause
type-2 diabetes the ketogenic diet
combats this because the simple solution
to lowering both blood sugar and insulin
levels is decreased carbohydrate
consumption number six is that keitel
increases HDL s so there are two types
of lipoproteins HDL and LDL HDL is often
called the good cholesterol and LDL the
bad cholesterol even though they’re both
proteins that actually carry cholesterol
HDL stands for high density lipoproteins
HDLs are what carry cholesterol from the
body in the liver where it either gets
reused or excreted versus the LDLs or
low density level proteins that
basically do the opposite and carry
cholesterol to the body in the liver
number seven is that keto actually
improves LDLs if that isn’t enough
already this is where it gets somewhat
more complicated but now that you know
the difference between hdls and LDLs
let’s take it one step further it’s a
fact that people who have higher levels
of LDLs are at higher risk of heart
attacks however studies have now shown
that it’s not just the number of
low-density lipoproteins but the size
that’s important people who have mostly
smaller LDLs are at higher risk of heart
attack
compared to those who have mostly larger
size L deals which is why low-carb diets
like keto are so helpful in this aspect
because they actually turn the LDL
particles from small ones to large ones
and in turn reduce the number of total
LDL particles and the risk of heart
attack okay so number eight is that
triglyceride levels drop triglycerides
are the tiny fat molecules in the blood
which are a risk factor for heart
disease and with the keto diet your
triglyceride levels go way way down the
main driver of high triglyceride levels
which can raise your risk of heart
disease is carbohydrate consumption
especially the simple sugar fructose
that’s why low carb diets like keto are
an excellent way to lower blood sugar
triglycerides and number nine is that
keto is proven to be therapeutic for
several brain disorders some parts of
your brain can only burn glucose which
is why you can lose muscle mass when you
eat zero carbs because your liver will
then turn the protein you have stored in
your muscles into glucose but a large
part of your brain actually prefers
ketones which are formed when you’re
eating very low carbs as with the keto
diet there’s a ton of research happening
right now having to do with the effects
of the keto diet on the brain there have
actually been Studies on children with
epilepsy where as many as sixteen
percent became seizure free and over
half of the children had more than a 50%
reduction in seizures okay that was a
